LANGUAGE & ACCESS
Designed for the local context
Primary presentation languages: Gujarati, Hindi, English.
Aurora only states a helpline's spoken-language availability when the responsible authority confirms it.
INDIA · DADRA AND NAGAR HAVELI AND DAMAN AND DIU
Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu share Union Territory-wide emergency routes, while their Collectorates and some local services remain separate. Aurora keeps those differences visible rather than treating the three districts as one local place.
LOCAL CONTEXT
This Union Territory is administratively unified but geographically discontinuous. Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu retain separate Collectorates and local operational contacts. Aurora therefore uses UT-wide helplines as the first layer, then resolves the user's district before recommending local police, Collectorate or disaster contacts.

ROUTING
The current UT Administration publishes 112 for emergency response, 108 for ambulance, 181 for women, 1098 for children and 1077 for the District Control Room.
The official Collectorate page separately identifies the Collector and District Magistrate for Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu.
The official police page publishes different control-room and station contacts for Dadra and Nagar Haveli and for Daman/Diu; local contacts are therefore location-dependent.
Daman's current 2026 disaster action material contains Daman-specific control-room contacts, which must not be promoted as Union-Territory-wide numbers.
TRUST BOUNDARY
Aurora will not treat Silvassa, Daman and Diu as interchangeable local destinations merely because they share one UT administration.
Gujarati, Hindi and English are localisation priorities, but spoken-language availability for a particular helpline is not inferred.
1077 is retained as the published district-control-room route; any direct district number must remain attached to the district authority that publishes it.
